Another reason had to do with our Mustang Build Series where we totally overhauled a 2017 Mustang GT S550. As part of the mods we installed a fuel pressure gauge and were looking for the quickest and easiest way to get it done. The other reason is that we have a similar adapter for Chevy models which has gotten a lot of positive feedback. There’s a Schrader Valve Thread Port and a 1/8-27 NPT Sensor Thread Port which is standard for most fuel pressure senders. Start by threading the fuel pressure sensor into the Ford fuel pressure adapter. Then all you have to do is remove the cap from the fuel pressure test port and thread in the adapter and sensor. You don’t even have to remove the Schrader Valve in the process. With those simple steps the adapter and sensor will be installed.
