This R&D project happened because there was no real easy way to install a water temperature sensor in a 6.0 Powerstroke. We had a Super Duty in-house doing some other work. But when we got ready to add a water temp gauge it took us extra time because of the sensor issue.
All good though, because now we have a Water Temperature Sensor Adapter made specifically for the 6.0 Powerstroke.
Our techs gave their stamp of approval and were happy with the way this water temperature gauge adapter turned out. Now you can save a lot of time and effort installing a water temp sensor. At the same time, you won’t have to make any major changes to your Ford.
A long, drawn-out process has been replaced by a quick and easy install. All you gotta do is remove the Block Off Plug on the engine block. Then replace it by adding this 6.0 Powerstroke water temperature adapter. The final step is threading in the sensor.
That’s it. Really is that simple.
This 6.0 Powerstroke water temp sensor adapter is made from steel so it’s built to last. It’ll hold up over time and get the job done for your Super Duty, E-Series and more. There’s a 1/8-27 NPT female thread for any standard coolant temp sensor.
When you need direct access to reliable engine water temperature readouts, this 6.0 Powerstroke coolant temp sensor adapter was made for you.
