We manufacture Air Fuel Ratio Accessories to help out with installation of our Wideband Gauge Oxygen Sensors for cars and trucks. As part of that lineup we have several different types of Weld-In Bung Adapters designed to fit the exhaust systems of a wide range of applications.

Stepped Weld-In Bung

The Wideband AFR O2 Sensor Stepped Weld-In Bung has a “step” so you can place this oxygen sensor weld bung in a 13/16” hole drilled into your car or truck’s exhaust. Each O2 sensor weld bung adapter is 1/2” tall with a thread size of 18mm x 1.5mm and is made from 304 stainless steel. The stepped design makes the mockup and welding process even easier.

Notched Weld-In Bung

Wideband Oxygen Sensor Notched Weld-In Bungs are designed for better fitment on the rounded surface of the exhaust, with a curved edge that sits flush. It is designed for 2.5” diameter tubing but will work with other diameters. Made from 304 stainless steel, the notched O2 sensor weld bung adapter is 1/2” tall with a thread size of 18mm x 1.5mm.

45 Degree Offset Weld-In Bung

If clearance is an issue, 45 Degree Offset Weld-In Bungs are designed at a 45 degree angle for an easier fit when installing a wideband O2 sensor. Made from 304 stainless steel, each O2 sensor bung adapter is 1” tall with a thread size of 18mm x 1.5mm.

Weld-In Saddle Bung

Wideband Air Fuel Ratio Gauge O2 Sensor Weld-In Saddle Bungs are cast from 304 stainless steel with a rounded saddle-style shape, making them easier to mount and weld to the exhaust tube. They work best on larger tube sizes with 2.5” and 3” diameters. You’re also not welding near the threads which can sometimes cause them to warp. Once this bung adapter is in place you’ll be able to install an M18 x 1.5 oxygen sensor.

1” Extended Weld-In Bung

Wideband Air Fuel Gauge Oxygen Sensor 1” Extended Weld-In Bungs are taller than standard 1/2” bungs, causing less restriction while protecting the O2 sensor since there is less exhaust temperature exposure. Made from 304 stainless steel, this wideband o2 bung has a thread size of 18mm x 1.5mm.
