Exhaust Gas Temperature Bracket for Version 2 EGT Probes

GlowShift’s Version 2 Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Bracket allows you to easily install our EGT probes in your car or truck’s exhaust pipe without having to tap into the pipe. This EGT adapter was made specifically for Version 2 GlowShift and MaxTow Exhaust Gas Temperature probes, and is also extremely useful when exhaust pipes are too thin for tapping. Keeping track of exhaust gas temperature levels is important in ensuring that your turbocharger is not overheating. The featured sizes for the bracket range from a minimum of 3-1/8" to a maximum of 5". To install you simply drill a 3/8" hole, insert the EGT probe adapter, and then clamp it. Please make sure to remove the 1/8-27 NPT ferrule fitting in order to thread the probe into the bracket. We recommend installing the EGT probe as close to the turbo flange as possible. Please also note that the bigger the exhaust and the farther it is from the turbo, the cooler the temp readings will be.
