Exhaust Pressure Gauges
GlowShift Exhaust Pressure Gauges display your truck’s exhaust pressure levels up to 100 PSI. These exhaust drive pressure gauges are important for anyone driving a turbo diesel and will measure the amount of drive pressure being produced by the motor. View ultra-bright LED readings on an ultra-bright analog display with multiple color settings. Each exhaust back pressure gauge kit also comes with parts for installation including sensors, wiring harnesses, mounting hardware and more.

60PSI Exhaust Pressure Gauge VS 100PSI Exhaust Pressure Gauge
Installing a 60 PSI Exhaust Back Pressure Gauge or a 100 PSI Exhaust Back Pressure Gauge depends on the amount of aftermarket tuning you have done to your vehicle. Both of these exhaust manifold pressure gauges are recommended for diesel trucks. But if your modifications are giving you more power and higher pressure readings, then the 100 PSI Drive Pressure Gauge would be for you. Any standard aftermarket upgrades to your vehicle would call for the 60 PSI version. Ultimately, there isn’t a major difference between these two highly qualified exhaust back pressure gauges. With either of these exhaust back pressure gauge kits you will receive accurate readings from 0 - 60 PSI or 0 - 100 PSI.
Why Is Exhaust Pressure Important?
It’s extremely important to monitor drive pressure levels to ensure that you’re not overboosting your truck, which could damage the turbo and cause a blown head gasket. The ideal drive-to-boost ratio is 1:1, meaning for every PSI of exhaust pressure there should be an equal amount of boost pressure. When the drive pressure gauge levels exceed the 1:1 ratio, the truck is trying to push the turbo too hard and a backup of gasses could potentially lead to critical damage. Driving with this ratio out of balance also makes the turbocharger less efficient. This is where an exhaust system back pressure gauge comes into play.
Exhaust Gas Pressure Gauges vs. Boost Pressure Gauges
Monitoring your drive pressure goes hand-in-hand with the monitoring of your boost pressure. A Boost Pressure Gauge allows you to monitor the pressure before it enters the engine, while a Diesel Exhaust Back Pressure Gauge allows you to monitor the pressure coming out of the engine. These gauges work together to keep your turbocharger performing properly while preventing any possible damage. GlowShift Exhaust Back Pressure Gauges give you the ability to accurately monitor exhaust pressure levels with 60 PSI and 100 PSI Exhaust Manifold Pressure Gauge versions available.
