How Do I Install GlowShift Pillar Pods for the Pontiac Trans Am?
Begin by removing the factory A-pillar and mocking your gauge pod up to the factory A-pillar trim in the location where you are planning to mount it. Use a scoring tool to mark the location on the factory A-Pillar where you plan to mount the gauge pod with the fasteners. It may be necessary to drill a hole in the factory A-pillar to allow the wires from the gauge to pass through. With the gauge pod placed on the factory A-pillar, make sure it is properly aligned with the scoring marks you made, and drill a 7/32” hole at the marked locations through the pod and the factory A-pillar. Install the Trans Am pillar gauge pod to the factory A-pillar using the fasteners by pressing them in firmly. Finally, reinstall the factory A-pillar with the installed gauge pod.
