With several different styles to choose from, each GlowShift Gauge Series gives you the ability to customize the look of your coolant temp gauge kit. Why Do I Need A Coolant Temp Gauge Kit?
A water temp gauge for cars and trucks works in a very similar way to a thermometer. By monitoring engine coolant temperature levels you’ll know when your engine is overheating which can lead to critical engine damage. GlowShift has 100° to 300° Fahrenheit analog water coolant temperature gauge kits and 68° to 302° Fahrenheit digital water temperature gauges. A 20° to 150° Celsius water temperature gauge is also available. Many drivers install aftermarket water temp gauges when their factory gauge isn’t accurate enough. GlowShift water temperature gauges include an electronic water temperature sensor for incredibly accurate readouts.
What's Included with a GlowShift Water Temperature Gauge Kit?
Each analog and digital water temp gauge comes with all parts required for installation. Included is an Electronic Coolant Temp Gauge Sensor with 1/8-27 NPT Male Threads. These gauges also come with a 2’ Power Harness that has a 2‘ Sensor Lead Wire, a Gauge Visor, Mounting Hardware, and more. The Installation Instructions provided will walk you through the entire water temp gauge install step by step.
Accurate Monitoring with GlowShift Water Temp Gauges
There are several different ways to install GlowShift’s Electronic Water Temperature Sensor and gain access to extremely accurate readouts. One option is removing the port plug from the Coolant Fluid Port, and installing the sensor directly to the port. A second option is utilizing the Stock Sensor Location, and using a T-Fitting to “T” off of the location. No matter which method you choose for installation, you’ll have access to precise readings on your electric water temp gauge delivered directly from your coolant source.
