Water Temperature Sensor Thread Adapter for LS Engines

Glowshift Water Temperature Sensor Thread Adapters for Chevrolet LS Engines are the fitting needed to install aftermarket water temperature gauge sensors to LS engines. This water temp sensor adapter features 12mm male to 1/8-27 NPT female threads for most standard coolant temp sensors, including newer low profile senders. The 12mm male threads are also the correct metric threads for an LSX engine. This Chevy LS Engine coolant temp sensor adapter is manufactured from brass and a copper crush washer is included to ensure a leak-free seal.

Installation
Install by replacing the factory coolant jacket port plug in the passenger side cylinder head. Thread the water temp sensor into the adapter and tighten. Be sure to use Teflon tape on the sensor threads. Thread the sensor and adapter assembly into the coolant jacket port and do not overtighten.
