The typical range for transmission fluid temperature is between 175° and 225°, and keeping within that average range is critical. This is where a MaxTow Double Vision™ automatic transmission temperature gauge for trucks comes into play. This gauge monitors the temperature of your application’s transmission by measuring the transmission fluid’s temperature. By having a trans temp gauge, you’ll stay one step ahead of any potential issues involving overheating that could potentially seize your transmission.
This auto transmission temperature gauge includes a 1/8-27 NPT thread size on the sensor and your truck may not come equipped with the same thread size.
